The smartest thing Universal ever did was build the first Hogsmeade! We live not far from Hollywood, and so few people went to the Universal Studios there that we could often get tickets for $20. As soon as Harry Potter started, they charged the same as Disneyland! And it's always packed! I took my kids to Orlando so that we could see not only Hogsmeade but also take the Hogwarts Express to Diagon Alley, and that was cool! (But very expensive.)

600 HKD is only about $77 USD. That’s cheap compared to WDW where 1 day pass to 1 of the 4 theme parks is over $100 USD! And $17 USD for a lunch at a Disney park is cheap. There are single items that cost more than that at WDW! Overall a well done overview of HK Disneyland. Makes me want to visit it now. My one critique would be to find another word besides CUTE, to describe things like nice, interesting, fabulous, darling, adorable, exquisite, beautiful, awesome, etc! But I like your Disney park vlogs. Thanks for doing them.

Superman ride is 10 outta 10 would recommend

We had so much fun!! Love the Superman ride ❤

we just went to SHDL. And as much as we wanted to love it ... hated it. It started with the stroller scammers who literally had to be barked at so they would leave us alone. Then the line to get in was longer than it needed to be. What i mean by that is that there were entire rows created by chains (manipulated by staff) to make people go through turns and traverse long distances without really needing to. We circled these paths only without anyone really in front of us, and it continued all the way like this throughout the entry to the park. When we finally got to the main entrance the lines were long, but they moved fast. As for inside the park, I think the biggest problem is actually not the park but the guests. EVERYONE is on their phone, like phone zombies. They are slow, not paying attention to where they are going, and just inconsiderate. I can't tell you how many times a crowd of people is moving through an area smoothly and then some patron on wechat or playing a video game just stops, blocking everyone. In the bathroom, you can find people sitting on the floor charging their phones and playing multiplayer games. In the men's restroom, we entered the park and I, as a precaution, used the washroom. I noted the 3 young men sitting on the floor playing games on their phone because it seemed odd to me to pay to see a theme park and instead stay in the bathroom. OK, I figured they just wanted to charge up their phones and not pay for the charging battery packs rented throughout the park. SMART.... but .. i came back to that bathroom about 4 hours later and they were still there. Same guys... same game. Hey , their prerogative, but it is indicative of most people ON THEIR PHONES ALL THE TIME IN THE PARK . Disney having the park's map and show schedules on the phone is also partly to blame for this. Signs could be better and making people rely on their phones meant even more people starting down at their phones, stopping suddenly, and slowing down moving about the park. THe lines waiting for attractions like Pirates are to be expected but even in LA, Kissimee DL and DW, they were never this long. I mean the wait is 4x. Was the ride worth it? SURE.. but if there were other attractions that rivaled this then the crowds would spread out naturally. The picture taking people dressed up as dolls, and hiring photographers also made it tough to enjoy the park. They would block entrances to attractions, block pathways, and make taking pictures of key spots like C's Castle really a chore.

I recently went there like a week ago and the lines were SO LONG! you were really lucky with the waiting lines I only got to do like 5-6 attractions and then watched the Disney castle fireworks

I'm about to go to Chongqing and make a vlog so I came to youtube to do some research and found this vlog by another Jake on another Journey that led him to the same place. I'm sure Shanghai still has plenty to offer, not to mention that it has (or had) rides unique to this park. My only disappointment is the lack of a train; however from what I understand China doesn't see trains as a fun attraction.

Dirty, trashy, broken down, exclusive, rude cast members, pushy and unruly guests? That describes Disneyland Anaheim perfectly.

Hi! Did you spend 1 night or 2 nights at the hotel? Just wondering where your luggages go if you only stay for 2 days 1 night and you spend your entire day at the park on the second day.... Planning to book for the holidays :)

I don’t think the castle is ugly but the fact that 90% things in the park are English just not for me. Also there are too much Chinese culture in the park and it some time ruined my experience. Also yes there is no iconic Disneyland rides 😢 The only that would keep me at the park is the nighttime firework show with the projection on the castle.
